Lite Motive is a Croatian band from Split formed in London while its guitarist and founder Dušan Mitic (a.k.a. Mittford Dulcie or simply Dule) lived there.
During his eight years in London, Dule collaborated with various artists and musicians and recorded an album simply named „LOVE“. The song „I want you near“ from that album was published in the „Hit sheet“ magazine. The magazine, as it says on their web site, „previews and promotes great music from established, breaking and unsigned artists“. The album was to be published when the whole project was cancelled due to financial problems.
Since its London beginnings till now, the band has changed its form many times, there were: Milena, Emily Jane, Gino, Sanja, Anka, Matko, Ilija, Tomislav and Toni. After coming back to Croatia, Dule gathers around him a new group of musicians and so the second era of the band begins. In 2007 the singer Ana Opacak joins the band, two years later, the drummer Jadran Vilovic, and their newest member is the bassist Roko Bandalo.
They have performed at hundreds of gigs and concerts at some of the most beautiful places in Split and Dalmatia, as well as bars, clubs, restaurants, luxurious hotels and yachts. With their talent, high level of professionalism and the extensive selection of their musical repertoire, Lite Motive have satisfied the criteria and the tastes of the most exigent clients from Croatia and abroad who were organizing events such as: weddings, grand openings of exclusive shops, malls, exhibitions, conferences, balls, gala dinners and all the other types of private parties.
At the moment they are working on their original album in Croatian and promoting their new single “Prema novom”.
